Letters : Oaxaca, to James C. Pilling, Washington [D.C.], 1891 Nov. 15.

Two letters from Francisco Belmar in Oaxaca to James C. Pilling, a linguist from the Smithsonian's Bureau of Ethnology in Washington, D.C. One letter, dated November 15, 1891, thanks Pilling for having sent him an Annual Report and a work on the Klamath language. In return, Belmar encloses a reprint of Father Agustín de Quintana's Mixe grammar. Belmar's second letter to Pilling, undated but possibly from 1891 as well, mentions that he is sending him 3 copies of Gramática de las lenguas zapoteca-serrana y zapoteca del valle by Gaspar de los Reyes.
